Cinematic Reel 2018
What a ride so far! The last 1 1/2 years I have been working at Electronic Arts and created trailers for a few of the biggest games in the industry. Now I finally had the opportunity to recap some of my work. This time in a new shiny ”Cinematic Reel”
I am a Cinematic artist and therefore responsible for layouting/setting up shots in the game engine and render them so they can later be assembled to a full trailer. This requires placing all the needed assets, animations and Cameras, lighting the scene and rendering the shot in the highest possible quality. In a few cases, I even created gameassets specifically for a trailer to really drive the story and the mood of the shot — for example, the broken armor of General Tarsis in the Legion of Dawn Trailer. I also worked on grading shots to emphasize a particular look just a little more. All in all, I am very proud of what I have been working on so far, and I hope that I can add a few more projects in the future.
